ADC-PCC Rejects Campaign Timetable in Circulation, Warns Members
In a statement signed by its Director of Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, the ADC-PCC distanced itself from the document and urged party stakeholders to disregard it.

The African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council (ADC-PCC) has disowned an unsigned campaign timetable circulating publicly, warning party members, leaders and other stakeholders against treating the document as an official schedule of its campaign activities.
The council described the purported timetable as unauthorised, insisting that it did not originate from either the campaign council or its campaign office.
In a statement signed by its Director of Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, the ADC-PCC distanced itself from the document and urged party stakeholders to disregard it.
“The purported timetable is unauthorised,” the council said, stressing that the document should not be regarded as an official communication from the campaign organisation.
The clarification comes as political parties and their supporters prepare for activities ahead of the 2027 general elections, with campaign schedules expected to guide mobilisation, public engagements and other political programmes.
The ADC-PCC advised members and other stakeholders to await an official announcement before acting on any information concerning its campaign calendar.
It emphasised the importance of relying on authorised communications to avoid confusion over the timing and organisation of its planned activities.
The council did not announce an alternative timetable in the statement, leaving the dates and details of its campaign activities subject to subsequent official communication.
The development highlights the importance of accurate information and proper communication within political organisations as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
With political parties expected to engage supporters and voters through rallies, consultations and other campaign programmes, the ADC-PCC's warning underscores the need for party members to verify information before circulating or acting on documents presented as official campaign materials.
The council reiterated its position that the timetable in circulation was not issued by its leadership or campaign office and urged stakeholders to disregard it until an authorised schedule is released.
